>>On another note. When I first got into breeding snakes back in the 90's I made a trip to a breeders place (with-holding name so don't ask) to pick out some tiger retics. This person also bred boa's and balls and he showed me some of his breeding stock and I was shocked. Boa's with no eyes at all, boa's that were kinked so bad you wouldn't think they could crawl much less breed, ball's that were just as kinked. He told me that as long as they could eat, digest, and pass their food that there was no reason to not breed them and that almost all of his deformed breeders sired or layed perfect litters and clutches as long as it was bred to an animal from different blood. To this day I don't believe him but he's made a pretty good living with snakes and still produces stunning animals. >> >>I do not agree with his practices nor will we ever follow them but I think it's foolish for us small timers to think that when some of these huge breeders produce an animal that has a small kink or deformity that they just freeze them automatically instead of keeping it on the down low and use it as a future breeder. >>----- >>Josh & Krysty Hutto >>J&K Reptiles >> >>Various Ball Pythons::: >> >>1.0 striped vanilla >>1.2 Citrus Ghost and hets >>1.2 Albino and hets >>2.3 het Pied >>1.1 Pastel (male has additional gene going on with him) >>a bunch of female holdbacks and several rescue normal males >> >>0.1 columbian boa, she's a feeding monster, controls my >> over production of rats, lol >>0.1 brazilian rainbow boa, another rat eating monster >>1.1 corns >> >> >>a BAD dog is MADE not bred, support the American Pit Bull Terrier as the greatest breed of dogs on Earth!!!!!
