I waited about a week after mine shed. I moved him to a smaller tupperware container(about a 5" diameter round container) offered a live rat pink to the hatchling, and then covered the container with a towel and left him alone. He took it after about 15 minutes. Being in a smaller container the hatchlings get tired of having the pinky crawling on them and usually eat.



Now..moving them over to F/T was a little trickier. Someone had posted earlier how they switched their's by offering a pinky while the hatchling was in a hide box. I tried this with mine and it worked great! He was in his hide box and I put the pinky at the entrance with just the head poking in. I then covered the entire container with a towel and when I came back later he was just finishing swallowing it.



Made it easy on me..no having to wiggle the thing around with tongs and worrying about it going cold!
