Hehehe...you and I feel the same way about crickets. I don't mind using them as food, but the thought of having lose ones in the house is just....yick. I was poking around a good looking breedersite for beardeds and they mentioned frozen crickets. That sounds like the way to go! 
Anyhow...it'll be a long time before we could actually think about getting any. I just think they're really cool. We spent all our surplus $$ on a relatively (for us) expensive snake and a nice setup for him. I'm thinking when he outgrows his current tank, I'll move him into a bigger one and use this one for something new. My hubby's much more inclined toward lizard species than any more snakes.
Maybe we'll see ya at the show. Not that I'd know it was you...*LOL*
