To the best of my knowledge, the salmon (aka hypo) mutant gene does not occur in Colombia. The original salmon was crossed with the most available snakes, and most of the boas in the pet trade are from Colombia. Without a good supply of Panama locality boas, Colombian boas seem like the best alternative to me.
