I ask because my father-in-law believes this and he was also told this is true from a reptile specialist at the rehab clinic for animals that they work at. I honestly don't believe this because being that they are from humid and hot regions they have no need for this sort of function where they need to adapt to the cold, thats just my 2 cents.
