Hypomelanistic. The other name it goes by is the Boawoman Hypo. That became confusing because it was recessive when other Hypos are dominant.



So the name Caramel was given, which is confusing because of the alternate name to the VPI T-Positive Albino. The VPI T-plus was given the name Caramel Albino because that is the name that the morph goes by in Ball Pythons, and it describes the morph better.





The Caramel/Boawoman Hypo does not have red pupils. It is commonly accepted that boas with red pupils have some form of Amelanism. Then the guess is made and they are assigned T-Plus or T-Neg. However there is no proof on any of the Albinos as to what they are chemically.
