Salom hypos clearly make normal apearing black but it is greatly reduced. Is this due to the paucity of melanocytes compared to normal or a defect in melanin sythesis. It would be interesting to histologically examine tissue from the skin of hypos, T- and T albinos and the Moore Caramel and see what the melanocyte distribution is. This would be interesting in combination with the biochemical tests in melanin sythesis that you are planning. | ||
