They can turn dull in appearance, turn a shade of yellow (tan), sometimes they smell, sink in or go moldy. You can tell if they are bad within a week of them being laid as a general rule.
If yours look the way you say they do, I would suggest candeling them and looking for veins. They are probably good.

>>Was wondering when you know if the eggs that you are incubating are good or bad....they don't have foul smells yet, but all but 2 of them have turned "pinkish" color....They are about 2 weeks old now, and I don't know how to tell if they are bad or good?
