I have just aquired what is supposed to be a lovely pair of these snakes. Firstly I was a little worried about the presence of very prominent spurs on both animals (I have read somewhere that both sexes have these - is this true?) So I probed them which has only confused the issue as the longer, fatter and heavier snake probes as a male and the other a female. Does anyone know anything about sexing these animals by spur length/shape or any other means. Plus any hints on breeding them - do they require a coolng period/brumation? Any help greatly recieved (this is my first forum entry, so we'll see how these things work) Cheers NB
