Ok....

Never used heat tape b4, so bare with me.

Have a baby Borneo Python - bout 10in long in a 15gal Plastic clear tote

1) I assume that the heat is emitted from the non adhesive side correct?

2) Can i have the heat side directly against the plastic? Or should I leave a gap?

3) With Heat Rope, being that it is waterproof...can i add it inside under the substrate?

4) Would I have to guard the rope from contact with the snake?

5)With heat rope, could I have that against the plastic?

6) With a thermostat, where then would i place the probe? Above ground? underground? In the Air?

Thanks in advanced!
