Will they prove out? What do you think?
.
This season I got a very healthy litter of 26 babies, zero slugs or other problems, from a pair of Peru BCC redtail boas. This was not unusual by itself! Except that approximately 25% came out with the visible attributes of Blood Boas. Here's a photo of the birth....
.

.
.. at first I was very interested in these because I believed they would develop into Black redtails (maybe they will?) but after looking at them more closely and showing the photos around to get opinions it seems they may well be F1 BCC Blood boas. Here's a closer look...
.

.
..... and a post-shed photo of that one, note the nearly black eyes..
.

.
Whatever they are they are developing into very beautiful boas! This image shows how that one looks now..
.

.
.. and still the black 'doll's' eyes..
.

.
Interesting stuff! Here's some photos of the parents..

Female..

Maternal grandfather or father of the female..
.

.
Thanks for looking through all this!
