Well, I can honestly say I've bred hundreds of BRB's and had a few with birth defects visable at birth, kink in tail post vent, slightly bent lower mandible and a one eyed one. I've never had anyone come back later complaining of something like you describe. Come to think of it, never had anyone complain at all!! Many have gone wholesale to stores so I can't really say about them.
