Well, it doesn't look like you're doing anything wrong, so it's really up to the snakes to tell you if you're doing it right or not. Basically, keep them together until the male is showing no interest at all for at least a week. Then separate them for a week, and reintroduce them and see if he continues to ignore her. If so, then remove him for good and keep an eye out for the female to ovulate and then shed. Keep good records and have fun with it!

>>that im doing things right. ok so far you all know whats going on. couple things i did recently based on some info ive gotten from the forums and websites. i turned off the heating pad and the temps in the tank are at 78F which reflects the temp of the room which is 78F as well. I have the a/c running to keep the temps down as i have read that females tend to be more receptive to breeding attempts by the male during this temp range. i have also been perodically misting the female as ive read this helps stimulate the female. one other thing ive been wondering. if snakes are nocturnal will they only do their thing at night or will they or have they been known to breed during the day?
