A rubbermaid tub is best, something that is at least 12" deep. You can fill with a mix of potting soil (untreated) vermiculate and water so it clumps nicely but won't leak water when squeezed in your hand. Use a heat lamp to warm the sand and introduce your female when she stop eating or is digging like made in her cage. You can cover part or all of the egg laying bin to give her privacy. It will take a few hours for her to lay all her eggs once she is ready. [ Hide Replies ]
