I've read that ambient temp (inside the cage, towards the cool side) should be in the low to mid 80's range and the warm spot about 95 /- 5 degrees. Some people prefer to let the temp drop a little at night. humidity is important also. I try and keep the humidity at about 60-70 percent.

there is tons of good information on the web. a good reliable and yet simple book is the Boa Constrictor Manual co-authored by Jeffe Ronne.
