is he tilting his head like puppys do? maybe tilting his head and looking at you? remember their eyes are on opposite sides of the head, mine tilt when ever i come up to them like they are trying to get some depth perseption. but with all that said i would still go to vet, its the best thing to do with new animals. and if things work out like i think they will, you just got a free best friend.
