Yes, that is so, but I think he was saying his wall temp was 100 in a basking type setting....



I agree my hot spots read 105....but that is the hottest spot at the probe, right on the heat tape....by the time the heat gets through several layers of newsprint and an inch of aspen bedding it is only 85 - 95F .....



MOST IMPORTANT- Keep a good GRADIENT!



Air temps when your room is 60F can cause respiratory infections...

As long as the cool side is 80F and a hot spot of 90-95F your animal should regulate his or her own body temps...they will let you know what they need...just be observant. My 2 cents...Andy
