Joe,

Vin is right. I had a nice still born litter of Perfectly formed Motley arabesques and Hypo Motley Arabesques. I posted pictures here on the forum of the Hypo Motley arabesque, and I sent emails to people requesting normal arabesque motleys. I don't know if I got to everyone because as I was building the new page a lot of emails went through the cracks. I'll repost the pictures here and in my blog so people can see what that morph looks like. I think it is definatley worth doing. The head is amazing. I have NO idea why it was a Still born litter. The Mother Hypo arabesque was VERY healthy and she was HUGE during the birth. There were hardly any slugs and a nice litter. Just all DEAD. The Mother died shortly after giving birth too. That was a TOTAL bummer. I guess the pregnancy just wiped her out. She was SOOOO skinny after birth that I have never seen a snake that healthy loose that much weight. This has happened to me 5 different times. A perfect litter of babies with Very little or NO slugs, and the babies are just DEAD. I'm sure they sufficate when coming through the birth process. There is NO other way I can explain it. One time I watched one of my BIG normal females give me 38 STILL born Babies. 1/2 of which were Motley. They were all just perfect on day 108 POS, and as I watched this, I thought she was just really nervous because we were watching her birth, but I walked in when she was about 1/2 through. I did see about 4 of the babies GASP for air after birth, and that is why I think they sufficate in the birth canal. It is VERY depressing. Ohwell, I guess it helps keep me going too.

Take Care, Jeremy
