Size of 3 year old surinams?

I may be adoptiong a pair of surinams that are supposed to be 3 years old. The person who needs to surrender them indicates that one is 6.5 feet long and the other is 7.5 feet long. Isn't this a bit large for 3 year old BCCs? I was thinking perhaps the person has the ages a bit wrong but I don't know BCCs as well as BCI.

Just curious as to if anyone out there has 3 year old surinams who are this large.
