Notice the spines/spikes on the back of the Namaqua chameleon....the one in your picture DOES NOT HAVE THEM....therefore it CAN NOT BE ONE.

In the condition that this chameleon is in, you don't have a lot of time to help it. It needs to be helped now if its to have even a slim chance of surviving. It won't matter what species it is if it dies. Chris has given you good advice on how to keep it.
