Posted by: toshamc at Tue Oct 10 18:36:54 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by toshamc ] Let me preface this by saying that we live in California and most of our power outages happen in summer - not a huge problem - but we did have an outage last year with eggs being incubated so this year I went shopping for a generator. From my experience you'll probably need to judge the type of generator you get by how many amps (or is it watts?) that you plan on running through the thing as well as how long your outages usually last. If you have breif outages and a small set up you can get away with a small back up generator - if you have a lot of animals and your power isout for days at a time - something bigger may be the key. | ||
