Not a GBK but in GBK country

Mid September my wife and I made a trip to FT. Davis, Alpine, and Terlingua.

Maybe you old salts can comment on this.

I'd seen lepidus, GBKs, and Subocs climb cuts, but I was amazed to see an animal with this bulk go up one in Terlingua.

Also, we were there for 4 or 5 days and saw no law enforcement, except for county deputies at breakfast.

I mean:

No Border Patrol - zero (Alpine station remained closed)

No TPW

No THP

No Las Jitas deputy

No National Guard

It was very strange.
