Housing Question - vivs to racks!

Hi Everyone,



I've about to move into a smaller property, due to new work commitments, but dont want to reduce my collection. I've been looking into building a simple rack system and looking at many of the commercially available systems they say that a 24inch tub is large enough for a 3.5 ft/2kg snake.



Firstly is it really ok to keep a 2kg/3.5ft snake in a 2ft tray and secondly if it is ok is it bad to move them from a 40x18x18 tanks into a 24x18x6inch tray?



any advice would be really appreciated.
