I couldn't possibly answer this since I feed it to ALL of my dragons from babies to adults. I mix it in with their salad about 50/50 on volume. Usually the moisture from the salad greens is enough to soften the pellets for the adults and during the day when I mist the babies, a bit always lands on the food dish and it softens them up some more for the babies. Then at night I usually pour a little into the dishes so I don't have to feed in the morning before my first cup of coffee hahahaha Don't even speak to me before I have had my coffee!!

I will tell you this....... it does last a long time!
