That's assuming you bought ALL breeders (males and females). The prices you're looking at reflect current prices.
I saw your post of this 12 lines down...
It sounds like you're, you're looking at purchasing hatchlings (possibly yearlings), which puts you back 2 more years before you breed the females. Why not save major $$$$$$ like this:
Purchase your 4 males and 8 normal females (all breeder size). Then pick up a couple yearling female normals. Breed your males to 2 females each. Then, the following year, you'll have all your het females and visual females you wanted, plus more!
In your second year, you'll have your 10 breeder females and all the hatchling female morphs...andy you saved a ton of money! It only puts you back 1 more year, but in the long run, I think it actually helps you out, as you'll have even MORE morph females that you originally intended.
I think you might underestimate the cost (and overestimate the availability) of breeder female morphs. Just my thought. ----- Jeremy Conrad
