The eye-dent will go away, humidity may be low and cause this. Higher humidity can rectify the problem, if not, the next shed will. I had this happen to a ball python.

As for food for your baby. My only '06 was born May 21st. She is about 24 inches, and gets one HOPPER mouse per week. If your boa is an inch to an inch and a half thick, it is either longer than 20 inches, or it has been fed TOO much.

The hoppers I feed my little girl leave a slight lump which is gone by the next day.

Boas should have a nice solid rectangular shape to their body, especially young ones. Some people feed month old babies rat pups (about the size of an adult mouse), but I'd rather my snakes grow at a good and safe rate, and live long lives.
