I have 3 Boa Constrictors..1 is normal female, other 2 are part Suriname/Columbian 100% het for albino, 1 male, 1 female. The female het eats more aggressively and is less docile then the other 2. About 4 days ago, I got an albino columbian female and added her into the enclosure. (All snakes are about 5 months to 6 months old) The albino hasn't had much handling indicated by the previous owner and is very aggressive towards me which should go away with handling. The albino is about 3 inches longer than the female het which is not a notibale difference, but the following day, the female het regurgitated a meal that she had in her belly for about 3 days. She seems uneasy compared to the rest, but very alert and healthy otherwise. The enclosure is 2.6 inches deep, by 48inches wide and 48 inches high. Lot of shelves and lot of hides behind various artificial plants from herpsupply.com. None of the snakes have any visible parasites and eat readily on f/t or recently killed adult mice about once every 5 to 6 days. The female het with the issue also seems lighter in color at times, but seems to stay clear of the albino mainly. Her favorite basking spot was on the top shelf, left side where the basking area via heat emitter is between 88.4Fand 89.9F. cooler side of the enclosure is just under 80F at about 78 near the bottom. The heat stays the same day and night and the humidity is usually between 50% to 60%. The only change came with the introduction of the female albino, but I thought the only stress came from male to male no? Any help would be appreciated...thank you. Doublexross@yahoo.com
