I have an 03 female that is breeding size. The thing is, she has such a slow metabolism, she only takes food every 4-5 weeks, i guess when she feels hungry. All the other times she refuses to eat.
She isn't thin or has any loose skin. She's just normal. I"m about to cool her down to get ready to breed, but want to make sure she atleast has another meal.
My question is, what tricks are there to get your boa feeding. anything to entice the sensory glands in their nostrils? Someone once told me to stick the head of the rat in chicken stock and then feed it. never tried it but sosunds interesting.
Just wondering what tricks ya'll got under your sleeves
Thanks.
