I guess that makes me special!

It's the only way I've ever bred mice or rats for that matter. I always wanted to control production and felt that wasn't really feasable with a smaller colony and tub breeding. I now have a larger colony and still do it that way to control production. Every week I add females (in qtys I want litters) to the male cages and remove the obviously prego females. For m9ice as the d=females give birth, I consolodate four females with babies into one raising colony. After all babies are fed off or weaned, the females are re-bred or go back into the ready to breed tub.
