First thing's first - have you confirmed any copulations? Without that, there's no sense even guessing about pregnancy. If you have seen some good lockups, then the next thing you want to watch for is the male losing interest in the female and ovulation. Ovulation can be really obvious, or a little more subtle, but once you see that, the next sign is the POS or post-ovulation shed which should occur around 3 weeks after the ovulation. Once you see that, then you should start to see a steady increase in girth and you can start the countdown to babies (hopefully)! Of course there is alot more to it than that, but those are the loose sequence of events for breeding boas. Here is a link to Jeff Ronne's (The Boaphile) article in Reptiles Magazine waaaay back in '96 - http://www.theboaphile.com/article.html. It is a really good source of info. for breeding boas. Good luck!

>>what are the first signs to tell us when the snakes are preg...both of our girls shed right before we got them, and then not even 2 weeks-1 month they were shedding again, after having them both with a male...is this a sign???
