As long as he is still eating well, handle him for the same time as your other snakes, about fifteen minutes a day leave him along two-three days after eating and if he bites you, don't pull away or flinch, just let him get his mouth off of you and continue to pick him up and handle him calmly and gently. You will have to accept the fact that he may never chill out, but he probably will once he gets bigger and feels less like prey. The more nervous and panic-y you are the more nervous an animal will be around you because predators that want to eat them act twitchy and nervous. I try to just take a minute to slow down and calm myslef down before i interact with my snakes so they don't feel threatened when I invade their home. You may want to call the breeder you got him or his parent from and ask them if they have any advice. i have found that good breeders are happy to help with just about any questions I have! | ||
