But you can also expect animals to be worse. Pastels like most balls, get less vibrant as they age. Some will be nice and some won't...simple fact. I think that if you look at who is putting them down...maybe they got one that didn't stay bright. I have seen pastels from all of the 'named' animals that are both pretty and not so pretty. I have seen beautiful pastels that have had 'dogs' hatch and have seen brown pastels produce babies that have stayed electric...it all depends.



Lemons are probably the most vibrant of the pastels and they make unreal bumblebees and lemonblasts so you can't go wrong with them...
