I picked up the Equate Bedding Spray from Wal-Mart and sprayed down the tank and such after I disinfected it with a bleach/water solution. I was soaking the snake while the tank dried out.



I know I have to respray in about a week just to kill any eggs that may have survivied/hatched or returned.



I was just curious about the soaking because I never see my boy in the water - he seems to really really hate it. And he was pretty pissed that I put him in the water and left him there (for about 45 minutes - with supervision of course.)
