There are a number of snakes that have that head pattern and are genetic such as, yellow bellies and fires (niether of which yours looks like). That male does have a mildly abberant pattern on his body as well though. The alien heads blend together, some of the eyes are elongated and I think I see some squigles around the eyes. Seems like enough to warrent a dinking project to me!
