Well, I've used caresheets and temps/humidity for normal BCI and that seems to work just fine for my hogs (they were my first boas). I use carefresh bedding because my male hog island got a splinter of aspen stuck in his nose back when I used to use that, which swelled and had to be aspirated by the vet (not infected, but there was pus that had to be removed). I don't think they have unique requirements, since they are the same species, and are just a dwarf form (that look AWESOME!).

Otherwise... they're just like "mini" BCI... ambient temp of about 82 with a 90-95 warm spot, large water dish, hide cave (with moist moss if in shed or if humidity is a problem), humidity of about 60% (or misting every other day or so, more when in shed).

I love my hoggies and am trying to breed them for the first time this fall.
