I've had that happen before, with the teeth.
Get a good grip behind her head. Well, you could have someone help you, it's just that I never do. Anyways, dip a Qtip in mouthwash, and dab it on the irritated erea. That will clear it up. Do it once a day, for three days.
I've had to do this countless times. I use Aspen for bedding. When I feed, I place the rat on a peice of newspaper in the cage. Sometimes the Boas will drag the rat around and get some Aspen shavings on the rat. Sometimes when they do this, a chunk of wood will get stuck between cheek and gum, kinda like chew. When that happens, their mouth will get irritated, and I use the above technique to get rid of it. It works every time. Usually, removal of the wood, or teeth (once happend to me) and one application of the mouthwash will take care of it, but once a day for a few days will certainly get rid of it. Sorry for the long winded answer. I'm Irish!
