We also use heat tape for hot spots that runs through the back of our caging. We do have a few racks that heat is not ran to for a few species that prefer it a little cooler. During breeding season we use temp drops pluged into the helix that run 90 % of the racks. The heaterS work great though, we have had them for about 4 years and they never have given us a problem, We currently have 3 that are running and they heat all 3 rooms (around 1000sq ft ). There is actually a regulator that you can purchase from Ace Hardware that turns the heaters almost into a helix so to say. Its a temp regulator that controls how warm yoUr room gets using the heater instead of heat tape | ||
