AS long as there are no issues, just leave them together. The female won't just breed with the first male to come along. He has to prove he is strong and willing to work for it.

>>I know I posted this before but it got no response I would really like some help please.
>>
>>I have had my colombians together for about a week now. The male is almost 3 and the female is I believe 6 now. Over the past couple of days he has been trying to "get in her pants" so to speak. But she doesn't want any apparently. Now I didn't cool them down because I wanted to see if I could do it without cooling and I was successful with my Rainbows because they were put together around the same time and have already tied up. Now with my red tails should I put my larger older male in there with the female, keep my younger male in there and see what happens, or take him out and try doing the whole cooling down thing?
