Some people do not cool boas at all to breed them.
It seems that sometimes, if boas do not act interested in each other when introduced, separating them and cooling them can help spark interest, but many breeders do not reduce temperatures at ALL and have boas breed successfully all year round.
There are lots of opinions on it, but boas can breed whether or not they are cooled, you just have to try what you think will work. I've heard that too much cooling can cause a female to have more slugs than live babies. ----- Lauren Madar
