Gopher vs. Bull?

Curious to know what the defining traits would be for a standard Bull Snake vs. a Gopher Snake, more the Sonoran Gopher Snake, I have noticed some subtle differences in the patterns, but didn't know if there were more defining differences than that. I guess I have troubles when I see one, determining if it is a Sonoran Gopher, or a Bull Snake. Thanks.
