Where did you read the word affection? I believe the poster used the word interaction, which is a LONG way away from affection. My male spider is very curious and seems to always want to come out of his bin and check out whats going on around the snake room. My mojave male also seems to enjoying 'interactiving'. I have some other ball pythons that never seem to want to leave their bins.
