Yep sounds like toast to me.

Thats the way those ZooMed/ReptiLife act when they start their meltdown.

10 years,I think you got your moneys worth outta that unit.

>>Not sure where else to post this question, so thanks in advance. I've been using Habistat pulse proportional thermostats for my Boas since 1995. I think one has recently finally failed. When I plug the main in without a heater attached, the red indicating light stays on continuously - normal. When I plug a heater into it (tried several), the light goes out - not normal. When I move the temperature dial over its range, the indicator light fades in and out but does not stay on - also not normal. Just time for a new thermostat? Any input would be very much appreciated. Adam
