We have continued to use this command to a point that she will honor it regardless of what she is being told to leave. We live in an area where I have removed rattlesnakes from my front yard and front porch of our neighbors. We hike in the hills around our house and take Stella. No problems with rattlesnakes. She has come up on them, stepped back and given them space. No attacking, no barking, nothing. We also used the command just one time when her pups went to her food bowl for the first time. Natural response, she growled, we gave her the leave it command and now they all eat from the same bowl. I started training her to leave the snakes by putting corns and kings on the floor. She's been told leave it so many times that now she just ignores them. More interest in killing a rodent than a snake. | ||
