I know what you mean I have one that is 6 moths old and just started a month ago to eat on his own. In the begining we were assist feeding him and he would twist around and spit it out no matter how far it was in. It would take 3 times befor he would swallow. He wasnt gaining weight. I left him alone for 2 weeks and he just non stop moving around his tank ,I didnt enev try to feed him. Then after the two weeks i weighed him he was down to 48 grams tryed to assist feed him and for the first time he tred to coil, then right after i put a live fuzzy in front of him he struck me and then struck the fuzzy coiled and ate three that night.. Wow you should have heard me jumping up and down to see him do it .. It was a long haul but worth it. He is now 160 grams and eats like a champ..
