only with 1 particular female

I have a male that acts like that, but only with one particular female. She's produced offspring from him 2 years in a row, but he goes WILD whenever I put them together. He'll thrash around for the first 15-30 mins then calm down and breed her. Really took me by surprise the first couple times.
