Let me start by saying that this is the exception, not the rule....I purchased a gravid import 3 years ago. She went on to lay 9 eggs, only 4 of which hatched. I spent the next year getting her acclimated and feeding. I got her to take rats regularly, and now even takes FT off of tongs. I successfully bred her last year to one of her sons, she had 7 eggs, all of which hatched. She can still be a bit nasty every once in a while, but eats great and appears ready to breed again.
Thanks,
Scott
