This quote is quite perplexing. What, exactly, is the right the snake had, but he didn't?
I don't see a problem with the ruling, he admits he killed it (and chopped off the rattle, too - how's that going to 'save' him?). You know what they say, ignorance of the law is not an excuse, or something like that. ----- -audri
