I usually have a 3 month rule, and try to not have any stay frozen longer than that. I'm sure you can keep them longer than that if they're packed right, but that's just the guideline I go by. I double freezer bag mine, and wrap them tight in a brown paper sac, but I wrap the freezer bags I'm not going to use right away in newpaper. It's a great insulater, and will keep them fresher longer. [ Hide Replies ]
