RE: mites???

Mites go through a nymph stage where they become air born particles. I have used Prevent a Mite for years with great success. They key is to stay consistant with a program of spraying or treating against mites every two to three weeks. This method will prevent the mites from reaching adulthood thus stopping the propagation cycle.

It could very well be the aspen that has brought mites to your snakes, but when you consider that they can be floating in the air, then it really puts things in perspective.
