snake problems

well we have just rescued a ball python from horrible conditions and already i am worried. the poor snake had maggots and poop in its cage with no heat source what so ever. it is alive but its like holding dead weight. its so listless. ive never seen parasites but i think it has them. it pooped on me and it was a lot of farting and liquid a small solid piece and themn runny poop and a lot of bubbles and there where white things in the poop. i didnt get real close but they looked like they could have been worms. is there a home remedy i can use for thwe worms that wont hurt the snake if it really isnt worms? the nearest snake vet is over an hour away and money is tight right now cuz i just had to put my dog to sleep. any help is apriciated.
